This system purification capacity is around 1,000,000 gallons, depending of water contamination from your area. Our bacteriostatic and KDF 55 technologies eliminate over 75,000 harmful chemicals and toxic heavy metals in municipal water. Municipal water passes through a 6 different technologies, enclosed the cross section:
A. 1- micron range sediment and rust removal membrane.
 
B. K.D.F. (US Patent 4,642,192) High purity alloy which has been tested to remove chlorine heavy metals, lead, mercury, arsenic; also control the growth of algae, fungus and bacteria.
 
C. 1-micron range sediment removal membrane.
 
D. Anti-turbulence channeling device (Patent Pending).
 
E. ORGANIC Coconut shell granular activated carbon high efficiency to remove chlorine, other chemicals in tap water, radon and other organic and inorganic compounds, odors, colors and flavors.
 
F. ORGANIC COCONUT SHELL activated carbon impregnated with silver, inhibits the growth of bacteria’s  and viruses within the unit, (EPA Registration #65804-1) high efficiency to remove chlorinated compounds such as pesticides, and dissolve organic materials found in drinking supply.

The manual valve is for the backwash of the system. For a family of two people  a back wash every month. For a family 3 to 4 people every 3 weeks. Back wash time is 8 minutes.
In case you don’t want to spent time on a manual back wash; we have models that includes and automatic backwash valve.
